I started out in the world of academia, where I dove deep into language and fashion, blending the beauty of Italian culture with its stylish history. With a Ph.D. in linguistics and a postdoc in fashion communication, I spent years helping students discover both the elegance of the Italian language and the stories woven into its fashion traditions

Eventually, I traded lecture halls for yarn, fabric, and a whole lot of color. Embroidery, crochet, and surface design became my new playground, and I’ve been traveling ever since—soaking up textile traditions from Milan’s buzzing streets to Leuven’s hidden corners. Now, I’m on a mission to explore, create, and share the joy of textiles—one stitch, one story, one adventure at a time.
